Young Ghosts, Circle Back, Party Program
at The Sentient Bean
Young Ghosts is an up and coming metalcore band from Jacksonville, FL. The band consists of Vocalist Nick Bailey, Guitarist Matt Carlson, Bassist Mike Atchison, and Drummer Kyle Smith. Within a year and a half of their formation in 2016 they have released a 5 track EP and 3 successful singles including 3 music videos.
Their single "Faded" was featured on the Official Spotify Playlist "MetalCore" alongside genre mainstays like Architects, Stick to Your Guns, and Miss May I. With over 410k plays on Spotify this diy act has certainly made their mark. The band has played Savannah several times including AURA Fest 2019 and at The Sentient Bean.

Charleston, SC’s metallic hardcore band Circle Back brings an aggressive edge to the city. Formed in 2013, Circle Back was initially a studio project which turned into a full band. Circle Back released “Promise To Pay”, their first full-length album, in October 2014. This introductory release led to a fury of songwriting and the group quickly released the “Devour The Negative” EP in August of 2015. Circle Back supported both releases with shows primarily in the southeast. Circle Back has shared the stage with legendary hardcore acts such as Terror and Madball during that time. In 2017, Circle Back released a four song self-titled EP and in 2019 released their second LP, titled “Terminus”. Circle Back recently returned to the studio with Jamie King to record their new EP, “The Gift Of Time” which was released on Blasphemour Records in early 2021. The band is looking forward to a promising future of touring and sharing their music with fans and brand-new listeners all over the world.

These are just some of the ways to describe the Carolina’s newest Post Hardcore champions “Party Program”. Created from the departure of their previous projects, “Party Program'' found themselves taking the hard road. Choosing to combine their love for classic alternative bands like Thursday, Touche Amore, Cave In and Glassjaw with the desire to cultivate a community of like-minded, growth-oriented individuals who want to inspire positive change, they have created something wholly unique yet comfortable and familiar.
They're first release, “These Are Just Songs, Thank You.” feels like a band yearning for stage dives, long drives, and basement shows. Perfect in its imperfection, like how feedback cuts through each song like a knife, or the way that the vocals crack from their intensity, the five songs on “These Are Just Songs...” showcases an appreciation for the past while happily pointing towards the future.
